Bitalino revolution?

Post by Peter Gamma »

I study for a while now the many possibilities of the Bitalino Biomedical Equipment Low-Cost Toolkit, and I m impressed by this device:

Looking for EEG software support for the Bitalino, I became interested in the Muse headband. I recently bought a Muse headband because of better software support. But the first problem I had with the Muse was that it was not designed for being used 24/7:

I found the modification shown in this thread very helpful. Still I asked myself, wheater the Bitalino would on the long-term be the better device for using it 24/ 7.

Bitalino is flexible. It can be used with for instance with 3 EEG electrodes:

or up to 18 electrodes.

with a headband like this:

it could be a Muse alternative. But what about software? Bitalinos range of programming API allows to incorporate BITalino in custom made software:

So I asked myself. Could the Muse monitor be modified to support the Bitalino?

Sorry, it would need a whole new app.
