Notch Filter

Post by MLNobre »

Hi!
First of all, congratulations on the fantastic app!

I have a question: my spectrum reading is showing a spike at what I’m pretty sure is 50hz. This is not from my brain activity but rather external interference, I think. The problem is, the notch filter option has no effect whatsoever in removing that frequency. Is this normal and is there anything that can be done about it?

The notch filter only affects the calculated absolute values. I left it on this view, because it looks cool to see the power line noise getting picked up and it's also good to know so you can move away from stuff like lights :-)
