the numbers in Y axis

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank James for developing and maintaining such a great app and web service. I have been meditating for 6 months now and without Mind Monitor, I wouldn't have been able to continue meditating.

Then I came to a very simple and basic question. What do the numbers in Y axis indicates? What can we read and understand from them? I think you can't say any definitive answer because MUSE is a very simple EEG Detector. There will also be significant differences in how each person uses it.

However, if you have any comments on the Y-axis values of the brainwaves I would appreciate it. Thank you very much.

The Y axis on the Brainwaves graphs is power spectral density.
For meditation purposes, what you want to look for it High Relative Alpha. Meaning High Alpha and/or lower other waves.
