What does this graph show

Post by bessyy »

I took the brain waves of my friend for a whole night (I'm doing research) and I put it in the mind monitor graphing website. I wanted to see the raw EEG data and how the brain waves changed. However, I can't tell what the y-axis is measuring. I know it's not measuring hertz, but I also need it to be in hertz to actually analyze the data. Can anyone help me with this?

You are not wearing the headset correctly, so the majority of this data is not good, sorry.
The data markers with "BF", "GF" and "J" mean "Bad Fit", "Good Fit" and "Jaw Clench".
On this RAW EEG graph you should have around a 50uV variance min/max with large spikes only when you blink.
The RAW EEG graph is mostly used to tell if you've got a good fit.

It looks like you have some good data around the 2am mark. You really want to see that for the whole graph.
