Would the app feature ability to measure and graph heart rate as well?

Tap "Mind Monitor" in settings 10 times to enable the experimental Heart Rate feature. Note that this is not available by default as it is very prone to error from movement and light getting into the sensor, but if you hold still it work ok.

What does the nomenclature mean? Mellow and Concentration.

It's on the screen with the accelerometer and gyroscope. You can find info on Mellow and Concentration in the help, just tap the "?" icon. TLDR, I would turn them off in settings. They're experimental and not very good.

Ok. I turned it off. I can see the heart rate on the screen with accelerometer and gyroscope. But it's not visible on the online chart...Are you planning to add that view?

So if I sit very still and restrict light in the room, I can trust the heart rate sensor data, right? I think it's an important parameter to track along with brain waves, as part of a mediation study.

The algorithm is doing peak to peak measurements to work out your heart rate, so if the pulse line is steady then the results will be accurate.
If you tilt your head you'll see the line rise and fall and it takes a few seconds for it to equalise again. Test it out by tilting your head near a light source and you'll see what I mean.
There is probably a way to account for this using some filtering, but it's a little outside of my expertise and I haven't got around to fully learning how to do this yet, so right now this is the best I can do.

Ok... again...how to get just the heart rate measurements ON and not the other stuff like mellow, concentration? If I press "Mind Monitor" in settings 10 times, all get activated. And sometimes the heart rate is not ON - not seen in the gyroscope screen - but the other 2 - mellow / concentration are...on the screen where we see the brain waves. Do I have to tap that 10 times each time I open the app and connect MUSE?

I think it's a little inconsistent. Or am I missing something?
