Graphing

Loving this app. Well done.

I wonder if you can guide me to more detailed info on how to customise the online graphing tool.

Is it possible to select individual waves, and not display all. And is it possible to show left/right values.

For instance can I produce a graph that represents the data which I can see on the app.

Im examining the effect of breathing through just one nostril and looking for hemispheric changes in eeg psd value in all bands.

On the app I can observe this data by choosing individual bands to display and also to show left/right values.

But when I record and export the online graph shows all 5 bands and does not show left/right values.

Hope Im missing something in settings which allows this functionality.

Can you please guide me or point me to the info. Or suggest how this can be done if the online graph cant manage it.

At the bottom there session averages for each wave as well as the left/right shift.
You can also click on a specific point and get the left/right/wave data for just that point.

If you want to manipulate the data in ways that are not available to the online graphing tool, then I would recommend that you take a look at the Excel Macro option. Excel is an extremely powerful tool and can do things with the data that are far beyond what is possible in a web browser.

Once you have run the macro, you will have a data set from which it is very easy to graph left vs right for single bands.

Thanks James

Looks like Ive got a lot of learning. Can you point me to any guide on using a Macro on Excel to plot this data?

The instructions are on the website here: http://musemonitor.com/Macro.php

What specifically are you trying to do?

I would like to plot radar graph to see whole brain functions. Ideally a radar graph with a ffwd time display.

Looking at hemispheric differences.

James, is it possible to stream from Muse Monitor to EEGLab?

Maybe, if EEGLab can receive OSC streams. I don't have EEGLab, so I'm not sure.
