Can we identify emotional states?

Hi James & Community,
I'm working on a an immersive art venue in Bangkok.
We are using Touch Designer to control a wide range of audio visual equipment and motors.
We are now working on a show using Muse S + MM. We are analyzing the OSC data with TD.
My goal is to capture as many information as possible to create interactions with the public.
I would be interested in identifying states of emotion such as:
Excitement
Stress
Engagement
Relaxation
Interest/Affinity
Focus
Alpha seems to be a good indicator of the level of relaxation.
I am not so sure how good are the 'Mellow', 'Concentration' we get.
I remember James saying on this forum that they are not great.
Anyone knows what data can be used to "identify" such emotion states?
Any known algorithm to be used?
Would be really helpful!
Thank you!
Cheers,
Gee
