Error connecting to Muse2016

Hi there.
I am experiencing errors connecting. Not sure it it on MuseMonitors side or the OS. Maybe someone here would be able to shed some light on the issue. Am using a Lenovo 4 Tab with Android 7.1.1. With all my other devices it seems to work sort of fine though I had a difficult time with them as well. Similar errors as this one from my ADB logs:

I think I found the odd reason for the error. The device didn't have a lock (pin, swipe, etc). Once I added one I could access the Smart Lock menu. Now it works even though I remove the PIN again.
Maybe I missed the RTFM notice

I've not seen this before. Are you running a custom rom?
