suggestion on a "epileptiform activity" detect function.

Post by monjanse »

can you add a chooseable (on/off)"epileptiform activity detection" function feature in the app, so it sets automatic marks purple marks with name "epa" (shortcutword for epileptogen activity) on the waves that is epileptohenic (spikes ant other epileptic-like waves) if we choose to enable the feature in the setting menu?

Sorry, but I want to keep Muse Monitor purely about the data.

Because neuroscience is such a new field, many algorithms conflict and contradict other similar algorithms purporting to detect the same thing. For just one example, some people thing that "Calm" is high Alpha, while some think it's when left and right waves are in coherence (there are many more algorithms!)

If I started adding all the algorithms that have been suggested to me, the would be hundreds of conflicting lines all over the place, so I have opted instead to only show pure data!

If at some point in the future the entire scientific community decides to release a clear set of algorithms as an ISO standard, then I may reconsider! ;-)
